Joana Peta is vying to Miss Ceará crown, to take part in the next Miss Universe Brazil pageant.
She also competed in Top Model of the World 2013/14, where she made the Top 16 and was awarded as the Best Smile.
Joana was the 1st runner-up to Miss Republica Portuguesa 2012 (Miss World Portugal) which gave her the right to represent her country at Miss International 2012.
